Unity Gifts are experienced UK prop makers with more than 35 years of experience producing museum replicas, film props and bespoke commissions from our South Yorkshire workshop.
We work with museums, film productions, theatre companies, brands and collectors to design and manufacture high-quality props, replica artefacts and exhibition pieces. Combining traditional sculpting with modern techniques such as CAD design, 3D printing and resin casting, we create durable and visually accurate props for display, production and promotional use.

The Caiaphas Ossuary
The Caiaphas Ossuary is one of the most important archaeological discoveries from first-century Jerusalem. Discovered in 1990, the decorated limestone burial chest bears an inscription widely associated with Joseph Caiaphas, the High Priest mentioned in the New Testament.
Our 1:1 scale replica faithfully reproduces the intricate carved decoration, aged limestone texture and overall appearance of the original artefact, making it suitable for museums, heritage attractions, educational displays and film productions. Please see the original here

The Pilate Stone
The Pilate Stone is one of the most significant Roman inscriptions ever discovered. Unearthed at Caesarea Maritima in 1961, it provides the earliest archaeological evidence naming Pontius Pilate, the Roman prefect of Judaea.
Our life-size replica accurately recreates the weathered limestone surface and surviving Latin inscription, providing an authentic display piece for museums, exhibitions, visitor centres and historical productions. Please see the original here

School Library Tree Installation
One of our recent prop making and set design commissions involved transforming a standard primary school library in Manchester into a magical woodland-inspired reading space. The project combined scenic fabrication, bespoke joinery and large-scale sculptural prop making to create an immersive environment that encourages creativity, storytelling and a love of reading.

Unity Gifts have been mould makers and resin casters for nearly 35 years and until recently, prop makers/set designers for nearly 10 years. We have experienced all kinds of commissions from one-off replica crowns to armour and replica weapons and oversized props for use in Marketing projects.
Our fondness are the small intricate props such as badges that appear on many cops shows. We have been approached previously in the past by customers wanting replica props and only having 2 or 3 grainy photos from which to copy from. However there has been artistic flair to create truly one-off pieces.
Replica designer, costumer, prop fabricator, and product plotter all have one thing in common - the ability to experiment with different materials. Additive manufacturing, computer aided design, various products such as leather, metals, plastics, textiles are all part of the makeup of prop making.
