This cold cast bronze model figurine of a World War One tank is impressive as it weighs in at nearly 2 Kg. Measuring 200mm long x 100mm wide x 85mm high it is made by the cold cast bronze method of moulding. Real bronze powder is impregnated into the resin body thereby offering a real bronze finished surface which can even be polished up with wire wool if necessary. Created during the 1st World War this 'tank' as it was known, because this was the name used (as in water tanks manufacture) to keep it secret, was an amazing addition to the British Forces in France. It was used in the Somme, but came into its own right during the Battle at Cambrai in 1917.
